Ruth 3: Risk & Trust
This chapter of Ruth centers on a “high risk, high reward” moment where Naomi, Ruth, and Boaz each take significant, uncertain steps—not because they have everything figured out, but because they ultimately trust God’s character and provision . Rather than responding to uncertainty with control, fear, or impulsiveness, the passage highlights a fourth way: seeking God through prayer, paying attention to how he may already be guiding, and then taking a faithful, calculated risk. The key takeaway is that while outcomes aren’t guaranteed or easy, God blesses trust and obedience in his ways, and ultimately provides the deeper redemption we cannot secure ourselves.
