The Restoration of Peter (John 21)

Ben was honored to join the Redemption City Church family in central Philly, as their church spends a few weeks looking at realities of Jesus’s life after his resurrection. They are seeing aspects of the kingdom of God that Jesus is building on earth, and before this had looked at disciple-making and God’s presence. Ben walked through John 21, seeing a third vital and beautiful element of God’s kingdom: restoration. Through reversing Peter’s denial and forgiving his sin, we realize God’s promise to do the same for us — over and over again. Part of the kingdom of God is restoration, recovery, and redemption, through Jesus.
