Baptisms & Celebrations (1 Cor. 15:20-22)

After five weeks of considering the truth and the impact of Jesus’s resurrection, we conclude our “Raised” series by celebrating the new resurrection life found in Christ. We celebrate child dedications, as parents commit to train their children in the ways of God. And we celebrate baptisms, as followers of Jesus reenact the symbolic death of their “old self” by going into the water, and their resurrection life in Christ as they come back up. Both of these only matter because we believe that Jesus was literally, truly raised… and because he is, we will be too!
